Default Which WG for S91 turbo???

Just curuious what WG everyone is running with their larger turbos. I have a Tial 44mm and my tuner doesn't think it's going to do the job.

I think you will have trouble holding a low boost level with that gate, I would recommend some thing in the 50-60mm range. Hit up Dr. Turbo I believe they have what you need in stock.

The Tial 44 is a great all around wastegate - how many psi are you looking to run? What is the rest of the setup (motor, tranny wise) I think the 44 would work, but we need more info.

I would also (of course) look at the Turbosmart line of wastegates...the new 50 and 60mm gates ARE AWESOME!

Yeah we have all the gates the make now on the shelf...... We have been using their stuff since 2003....never had a problem with a single one. Only had 1 e-boost go bad in all the ones we have sold. Hard to say that about any company nowadays.

Will any of these bolt up to the same flanges as my tial? My setup is a 408 with s91, 4l80e tranny. Looking to max out around 18 psi but run lower numbers on the street. What is considered low boost? 8lbs??? 10lbs?

I'm running the turbosmart 48mm I think. No problems. I've ran 7lbs before, but I've got the pipe feeding the gate in the right spot.

I ran the Turbosmart 48mm Progate with no problems with my S88.
Ill be running two of them with my new setup.

I dont see any reason why the new 50 & 60mm units wont work for u.

Hmm I will check. I don't thing they will, but the Turbosmarts come with the flanges and clamps...so easy to swap.

I'm running an S88 and Tial 44 mm wastegaste with a 7 lb spring. I see about 8 lbs of boost with the 7 lb spring and have no issue with boost creep.
