Can't wait to see the results, good luck!

If you get a chance later, can you post a pic of how you added the extra support brace? Hopefully no torn belt this time around.

THIS WEEK AT MUNCIE DRAGWAY

SPEED CHANNEL WHEELSTAND EVENT

This event has been rescheduled to run Saturday, September 27th along

with our Fall Big Bucks Shootout!! "On the Bumper" Wheelstand Event

We were invited to be one of the cars involved in this wheelstand contest yesterday.
The good news is that on the runs we did for the wheelstand contest the cog belt worked perfectly. Ted ran it pretty hard one of the runs and it never stretched and stayed perfectly in line. All was well until on one run the car came up so high it went onto the Wolfe Racecraft parachute bracket, both rear tires were off the ground and the car slightly rotated to the side. Ted had to let the car down quickly to prevent it from landing on top of the guardwell, and needless to say we have to replace some of the front suspension parts before the lSX Shootout...

ATI ProCharger and Moser Engineering should get a lot of coverage out of this event, as the Speedchannel crew spent a lot of time filming our car, and interviewing Ted.

Lou Santiago went out to eat with our crew after the race was over, which was cool. Bob

Bob are u guys running travel limiters on the front?I know it was a wheel stand contest but replacing those front suspension parts u have got to be getting tired of that, not to mention the money it costs to replace.I do have to say the wheelies that car has done have looked impressive!

We will have the limiters limiting the suspension again after this, we had them for the Shootout last year, just not adjusted tight enough. We decided to do this deal yesterday for the exposure it could get us. Now that it is over we'll get the car fixed and we'll try to keep the front a little closer to the surface. Bob

lol, we have a lot of work to do before the shootout. It wore through the strap on the parachute where it is connected to the parachute mount. It took out the front shocks and the upper a arms, not sure yet on anything else. We had installed Madman's save your *** bars, hoping they would take care of the suspension. I'm sure it would of been worse had we not had them. Bob

Thanks Jassim!

This video that Jassim took was from last Wednesday when we were at the track for the first time since we went back to the drag radials. We added a lower brace to the blower later last week and we did not have any problems with the belt at the track Saturday. Bob
