I don't suppose your buddy's name is Tim and he runs a light blue colored GTO?

If so, last I heard he got so fed up with swapping trannies he parted the car out and will be looking for a vette and more then likely an APS kit.

Thats what I said. I hit 6000rpms in overdrive. I did a mph calculator to figure out the speed since the gauge only goes to 155. But thats as fast as I can go with the 3.42s.

4l80e dumdumdum... then you will be all set with tranny's at whatever power you are going to make, I am not sure about for cars but for trucks doing the swap you can get a pi torque converter that still works with the 4l60 flexplate and the 4l80 trans.

I found one finally with all conversion pieces minus crossmember and yoke/u-joint conversion kit. Feel better now that the car will be up and running in a week or so.

Just got off the phone with them. The trans I am buying has the barrel plug adapter but I dont think it has the vss adapter thing. I need to check so I do not buy something thats included with the trans.

Also will the stock torque arm wrk with the relocation crossmember from yank? I need to use the stock arm for now, but if I have to buy a torque arm now I guess I will.
