Umm part number depends on what heads you are using..
I am thinking still to run the ls7 on my afr 225s. I was also debating the cometics but they are a lot more money than the gms which is tipping the balance. Many report great luck with the cometics but havent' seen much bad on the gm mls either. I think would put the gm mls down with some copper gasket spray and hope the gm mls don't require any special block prep. The cometic recommend 30RA or lower. Now idea what my block RA is and have new afr heads guess AFR would have better idea of RA on those.
So remember the gasket part number depends on heads not the block from what I have learned.
