just an idea as i have been brainstorming how to do a turbo kit on my car for the last 3 years...but on the crossover why not oval the pipe? you will still have the same internal volume so flow shouldnt suffer and you will gain prob an inch or more of ground clearance. my car imparticular sits very low and im sure several people who buy this kit cars sit low as well and they would hate to break that pretty manifold because they got it caught on a speed bump. this kit wouldnt support the power i want to make but this looks to be a very very nice kit for the average fbody owner.

Talking

For any of those out there that want power and stock driveability, this is it! I've had this kit on my car for about 4 years and close to 23k miles. Currently about 62k on stock motor. I've got an oddball, bought the kit used with a t-66 turbo, but a lot of the pipes were crap, so I went down there and got some new pipes made and I got the turbo rebuilt. Fortunately for me, TTi is about 45 min away Service and quality is beyond top notch. I don't have my other computer up to look at my past dynos down there, but with a stock bottom end, stock 317 heads, little 222/216 cam motion cam, I think I was 498/550ish at the wheels at 8.5ish psi. (nick may be able to come up with a graph if anyone wants) Car ran 10.74 @ 127 this year and, empty, without me in it, she weighs in at 3840lbs! Awesome on the street and track! I love racing on a hot summer day when I go thru the traps I crank up the a/c on max for the return trip! I highly recommend this kit, as it has served me well for years and I have no doubts it will serve for many more!

Default Finished again...

As I mentioned before we planned on forging this customers motor and also adding a few extra things. One of the extra goodies was a BMR cross member which gave us the ability to build a cross over that wouldn't scrape on speed bumps or what fat chicks get in your ride jk

So how much power did we make on this 346"?

Stock crank, Compstar Rods, Mahle Pistons, stock heads with valve springs and a noice camshaft

Not bad eh?

I also did up this little picture.. I'd like to put more time into it but were not Turbo Technology Graph Design unfortunately

Anyhow, I think thats it for this project (yeah right, the customer will want more in how long you think?). Great documentation and proven results from one of the few manufactures left in the USA

Enjoy!

- Nick

You guys are making it so I need to make a road trip in my 05 GTO and visit my parents. How long would you need to build me a kit for my GTO and about how much? I would need to due forged rods and pistons as well. Probably another cam, but I have a crazy urge to try my NA cam out.

Does any one have video of any of the TTI kits in action. I am in iraq and have not gotten to um injoy my set up just yet. I will post some pics of my 60-1 below.

Just a little old fella

You can tell she has been in the shop for some time its been a long project.

Working on bringing the car back up to stock ride height for better clearance as you can see we need it.

I will try to get pics of my set up with the new springs some time this week. Before the car sat way too low and the cross pipe only made it worse (as you can tell from the pics)

It's funny that you say that. I have known George for about 15 years. At the suggestion of Kenny Duttwieler I got one of Turbo Technology's kits for my car.

Damn I miss that car. That thing worked!

I see all these posts about turbo companies coming and going, about people waiting 5 or 6 months + for their systems.

Here is a company that has ben around for close to 20 years and still for some reason people act like they just popped up!

Good guys and great systems.

Is there any problem with the turbo running off one manifold instead of being centered? I know there is a crossover pipe, but is the turbo being fed more from the driver side than the passenger side because it's closer?
