Adapter to put pressure sensor on Shrader valve Hey all,
What part do I need to put an AutoMeter fuel pressure sensor on the Shrader valve on the end of the stock fuel rail? Let me know if you need additional information in order to answer this. Thanks in advance!

If you just want to connect straight to it, you could use this:

I used a T-fitting so I would still have access to the port under the hood, but I can't find it now. If I manage to find the link, I will post it.

So, just to clarify, I need a female 1/8" NPT fitting to go on the Shrader valve? (And, then, whatever the sensor requires on other side of the adapter, of course)

your autometer male fitting is 1/8 npt. the end of the rail is -4
........-4 female w/ female 1/8" npt port(s)
and you will also need a -4 cap if the fitting you buy has a male -4 on the end of it like the one in the link
or you can use the other one in the link and use a 1/8" npt union

Time to resurrect this thread. I bought the part that red83 linked (2 port version) from Nitro Dave. I got a cap and a plug (not realizing it came with one), and I've put it together with some teflon tape. Sure enough, it fits on the Shrader valve and the sensor, and all is well...
Except... is there anything there to hold the Shrader valve open? Doesn't look like it. Do I need to pull the pin out of the Shrader valve so that it's always open?

Why not on the AN fittings specifically? I was really doubting that I should in the first place (because I was afraid it would get in the fuel), but my father was in construction for 40 years, so I was taught to always use teflon tape. 
The AN fittings have a taperred seat that seals against the mating flange/port, so the threads are not part of the seal design. NPT fittings are taperred and the threads are part of the seal design, hence why you need to add teflon tape to the threads of NPT. Using teflon tape on the AN fittings will not do a thing, won't harm it nor will it help. You just run the risk of part of the teflon tape going into the fitting and causing a plug. I used to design all sorts of fittings for aerospace companies, so I know about this and this is why they do not allow teflon tape on the AN fittings (too many lives at stake).
