Default How much HP is the stock fuel rail good for?

Just like the title says, I am looking for what the stock fuel rail is good for. I am going procharged and will be about 650RWHP. I am thinking of having them powder coated and just reusing them, or should I get some aftermarket rails?

If you need any fuel system components for your buildup, please let me know.

I'd personally go with aftermarket rails just for more flexible plumbing options - I originally had my FAST rails plumbed to work like the factory setup (dead head at the rails), and a couple months later when I had all the stuff, I changed it over to a front mounted regulator setup without too much trouble. With some time and attention to detail, it can come out really nice in the end.

Just FYI. I make about 630 on E-85 with the stock rails and feed line from the filter.

I used a 98 Vette rail, return style, with those and they worked great.

Flow wise the stock rails are a restriction at about 650rwhp. Not to say people have not made more power they are just now a restriction and could flow better with an aftermarket set of rails like ours.

Not sure if the C5 rail is any different than the Fbody, but I have seen 780rwhp through stock lines and rails, but pressure was dropping like a rock at 5700 rpm...

Do you remember how much pressure drop it was? And was this with the stock routing (regulator still in the tank)? I'm just curious...that sounds like it was one stout Vette.
