Default What is the max hp u can get out of the Ford racing 80's and which pumps?

Well i am building a 441 LSX Twin TC70 turbo set up. This is a 6spd street car.I will like to drive around making 850rwhp and to make a 1000rwhp when i turn up the boost just for fun.I know this turbo set up is capable of around 1400rwhp but i am not trying to do that.Right now i have the ford 80's,FAST fuel rails, duel walbros 255,a boost a pump, and a fuel pressure regulator. So my question is what is the max rwhp u can get and what rwhp is can u run safely with the 80's. what% duty cycle, what pumps, fuel pressure etc etc. Should i use the duel 255 or 1 big single pump sump tank? which is better the magnafuel 4301 or the weldon pumps? I know a driver box with 96-120's would be better but just trying not to do all that yet.

according to my calculator using a BSFC of .65 at 90% DS using 58 PSI FP you will be safe to 1050 CHP, not much headroom left. The 255 pump is not my favorite. I like dual 044 Bosch for this set up with a sump tank

Both the Weldon and MagnaFuel are great pumps. Weldon more race style louder creates alot of heat (can be controlled with there optional voltage controller) The MagnaFuel is a great street pump quiet and rugged for street use. If sticking under the 1000rwhp mark I would rec. our Stage 3 street kit with dual pumps in the tank for the ultimate in quiet and reliability. And the 80#ers are good to 850-900rwhp as per calc. above 1050chp minus 15-20% and even more for turbo applications-turbo uses alot of fuel.

I noticed yall use duel 340's. How would u compare a 255 to a 340 pump?I like the fact they are inside the tanks which keeps them cooler. I know the 80's will be my limit to make past my goal.if I was to get a driver box and low imp injectrs how much rwhp will your stage 3 duel 340 support?

I think the gss340 pump is a 255lph pump. On Walbro's web sight they list the 255lth OEM and the 255lph high pressure pump. I could not find any info on a 340lph pump on their sight. I did find info on other sights selling Walbro pumps that say they have discontinued the GSS340 part number and that the GSS340 is a 255lph pump. I to am looking for clearification on this subject. I do not know what the answer is.

Yes 340 is a part # for a 255lph pump. We start with 2 custom flow tested and matched 255 pumps for our kits. Each pump is wired individually so one runs all the time and the second kicks on under boost via Hobbs switch (supplied)

Yes a majority of the Weldon product line is aimed at the racing side (although there are plenty of guys using the stuff on the street) -- BUT they do offer two inline versions that move more fuel at high pressures with lower amp draws than most of their competitors' same style pumps and they do not require the use of the 14000 Controller. These inline versions were designed with the street in mind -- the smaller one (600-A) will support 600+ hp @ 60 psi, while the larger one (1100-A) will support over 1100 hp @ 60 psi.

Do you have to change the tank on a f-body to run these pumps or can you modify the pump carrage to make it a straight threw pickup kind? Can you run one of these in line with the factory pump?
