Just did a cam swap and my car is extremely rich running, which I figured it would be so its sitting in my garage. One of my friends told me for a band aid short term fix I could run E85 in it. Now this has me more curious then anything. Would this accually work? I know E85 would eat up the fuel lines and what not but still is a interesting idea for short term. Now before somebody gets all butt hurt and calls it retarded, Its just a question more then anything. I dont have to drive the car but If it wouldnt really hurt anything for a short amount of usage, I might give it a try, If not then itll just wait for a full tune. Thanks for any info

Most of the later vehicles were designed with ethanol fuels in mind, so many of the fuel system components are resistant to ethanol corrosion.
Mixing ethanol is a practice I've seen that has become more popular, but it can be risky if you are doing it all in tank and are running a more aggressive tune.
Actually noticed a local gas station has these options at the pump the other day:
E10, E20, E85, 87, 89, 91.
