well finally found stuff out. The fuel rails are 3/8 NTP with is equal to -6. So to keep it all the same size n keep flowing smooth ill run -6. FWIW, -8 is equal to 1/2in Figured it out n a little tech info here for anyone else wondering.

I'd run a -8 to a Y, and run a -8 to one end of each rail and a -6 to the regulator... that way there's no question on wether you have enough flow or not.

+1 on this..

I read about alot of guys running a series style fuel setup with a -8 feed and -6 fitting on the crossover in the rail.. Thats just asking for problems if you ask me..

I always prefer to run a -8 crossover so it does not represent a restriction to the second rail in series.

Nothing wrong with running fuel rails in series if done properly. I have quite a few customers with over 1000rwhp using this setup.

You can run them in series yes, but if you're spending the $, the difference is probably less then 100 bucks to put a Y on it and run them in parallell, and with the rails in parallel the pressure from one injector to the next will be more consistant yes?

You are correct, but in theory only. There is always something better, but it comes down to if it is really necessary.... Just as a -10 line or 1" diameter rails could be better, they are not really necessary for something under approx 1500hp.

Based on over 5 years of building custom fuel systems, personally I would spend $100 elsewhere.

consider only half the fuel consumed flows through the crossover. The pressure drop in a foot of hose & a few fittings is negligible considering the flow capacity of a -8 lne vs. what fuel 4 cylinders can consume.

The complexity of mounting y-blocks & extra cost deters most.

Just my opinion & not worth arguing over, but spend your cash wisely.

well already got it set-up. Got a -6 crossover and gonna run it in series n save some money. Not gonna get anywhere near 1000hp, **** id be happy with 700hp. So to make it simple on myself i went that route. I stand by my decision, lol.
