Default Critique my dual walbro setup

I have an 00 T/A that is getting turboed, or rather almost done being so. Im starting to look at the fuel system, I already have 60# injectors so its the pump(s) im worried about. I was thinking of the Racetronix single pump but I think I would be damn near maxing it out so Im looking into a dual walbro setup while using the stock lines. Heres what I have so far:

Ill be running 10 gauge off each pump to an 8 gauge 30 amp relay then going to the battery. Ill reuse the trigger that is going to the stock relay. Ill run 10 gauge grounds off each pump also. Does this sound good?

I am thinking about Hobbs pressure switch for when I go above X psi of boost but I know people who just run them all the time without a problem.

I tried a 044 external Bosch, it was lousy, sent it back, 2nd one was just as bad. It didn't come close to the flow of a Walbro. I have no way of knowing if the guy had a bad lot or what but they were junk compared to Walbro...

Exactly what I am doing. Battery is already in the trunk so that is even less wire to run.

But which wire from the harness is the switched power wire?

Use the existing power wire that powers your stock fuel pump to activate the relay. This will allow it to do it's little 2 second prime deal when first starting and also the rollover reset switch and all that will still be functional. That is what I have done with other vehicles I did custom fuel systems on.

I would not know that because I have not messed with your particular model of car. However, when you are looking at the wiring going to the fuel pump hat you should have about 3-4 wires. 1 or 2 wires will be for your fuel level sender. The other two will be your power and ground wires for your OEM fuel pumps. If I were you I would get your trusty voltage tester out, disconnect the wiring harness clip from the fuel pump hat and probe the wire contacts with the red probe and touch the black to the frame to ground it. Then have a friend get in the car and turn the key to the on position. The ECM will do a 2-3 second prime cycle of the fuel pump. You will see this as around 11.5-13.5 volt reading on your voltmeter. If you see something significantly different then probe the next contact and repeat until you find the switched/ecm controlled fuel pump power wire. Once you have located it then you can disconnect that wire and run it to your relay.

on my ride, the pump will only prime once. Even if I turn the key off. FYI

I guess some cars are different depending on which type of fuel system they have. I forgot about that. Even if you could only do it once it wouldn't matter too much. It is quite easy to narrow it down to 2 wires by just looking at them with the fuel pump hat out of the tank to see where they lead. Heck even while the hat is still in the tank you can get a good idea by looking at the gauge of the wires going into the hat. The ones going to the pump are usually a slightly larger gauge than the ones going to the fuel level sender. Once you have narrowed it down to the 2 possibles then just stick your probes on both of the contacts for them. If you see a momentary + 11.5-13.5 voltage when the key is turned to the on position then the switched power wire is on your red probe. If you see a - 11.5-13.5 voltage then you know that you have the polarity reversed and the switched power wire is the one contacting the black probe.

fuel pump is normally a gray wire.

i wouldnt run both off one relay. easy enough to do two relays with separate fuses. also take an extra second to ensure good frame or battery grounds to the pumps.. and i'm not talking mount to the fuel pump bracket inside the tank.

also with a stock return line i would not run them both all the time. easy enough to trigger with the boost controller you select for the turbo system.
