Default How long has your walbro pump lasted

So my 98 pump died and I'm looking at the racetronix kit for a 98 with a walbro pump. But I've been told these pumps last 6 months to a year! Any truth to this? Please help me out

Mine has been in for one year.I installed the wiring kit with it,they say the pumps won't last long with stock wiring as the pump needs more power.

These pumps are very reliable.
The biggest problems are improper installation or counterfeit imported pumps that are passed off as Walbro pumps.

I always recommend the following:
Drop the tank so you can properly clean everything.
Use a hot wire kit to ensure proper voltage.
Always use a new fuel sock.

My Racetronix GSS340 pump went in back in 2001, factory wiring. I've starved it on road courses, generally abused it, and it's still running.

crap I went and said it...now it'll fail...

Racetronix 2 1/2 years
Sumitt Junk 6 mos

Will only used racetronix pumps from now on and will never just run a single pump. Good insurance.
