Default Do I have to run dual pumps

It's a 350hp LT1 that I want to spray with up to a WET 200 shot on E85...

That would be 550hp (corrected) on motor

Can one Walbro handle it?

Might get a fuel pressure gauge and find out for myself.

no you'll run out for sure. I laid down 480 on gas, swapped over and anything over 5000 rpm and it'd go lean real quick.

You are way underfueled with E85 & dangerously marginal on gasoline.

If you want to do dual pumps, feel free to give me a call & I can get you everything you need.

It sounds like the rest of your system may also need some attention with a 200 shot.

I'm not running a 200 shot right now, and not going to until I switch to E85.

Thanks for the feedback

Are your numbers (550 and 350) at the wheels or at the crank? Those are very different numbers if at the wheels.

I'm currently planning a fuel system for my E85 LS3. It's making well over 700hp at the crank and I'm currently planning to use dual pumps, 10an feed and 8an return. I'm using an aeromotive regulator to step pressure down to carb pressure, but the pump volume is what's necessary.

Dual pumps seem to be good for 1000-1100hp at the crank.

Then I would think you would need dual pump.

550rw + 16% drivetrain loss + 33% higher fuel demands of E85 = 850hp of fuel demand.

Being that you are at altitude and can't actually make that power unless you drop down to sea level it might be fine on one pump.

**At least that is how I am estimating pump sizing for my setup**
