Default LS3 injectors on LS2 fuel rail and Fast 102 intake, what is needed?

LS2 engine, LS2 fuel rail and wiring harness. I'm considering running stock LS3 injectors. I understand the LS3 injectors are shorter than the LS2's. Who makes adapters to fit the LS3 injectors onto the LS2 rail? I believe the wiring connectors are the same, but I'd like confirmation. Thanks.

Found some info on them. They are injectors off an Australian police package LS3. Supposedly each injector has 16 spray orifices instead of 4, otherwise flows the same and has the same parameters. What would that do for efficiency/performance, additional spray orifices? Would the injector clog more easily?

I believe it is EV6 for LS2 and LS3 injectors.

The Fast 102 for cathedral port heads has its own size injector o-ring, which is larger than the stock LS2 injector o-ring. Do the LS3 injectors have o-rings at the nozzle that are larger than the LS2? In other words, would I have to swap the FAST o-rings onto the LS3 injectors to fit properly in the FAST 102 cathedral port intake? Thanks.

Nevermind, called FAST; yes the FAST o-rings also have to go on the LS3 injectors. Hope this helps someone.

I understand the LS3 injectors are shorter than the LS2's.
Is there really a height difference? I thought the LS2 and LS3 fuel rails where the same exact thing..

I know its late but i fail to understand. If the fuel rails are the same then how can the injectors be different? Unless there is a difference in the intake manifolds that covers that extra size.

So if i install ls3 injectors and ls3 fuel rails on a FAST 102 intake in a ls1 car what else do i need other than the ev6 harness?

The difference must be in the LS3 intake. The LS2 and LS3 intakes and heads are different, so perhaps the injector placement in the intake was changed, necessitating shorter injectors. The LS3 injector is noticeably shorter than the LS2 injector, so I had to buy adapter caps to make up the length difference to work with the LS2 intake and fuel rail.

The LS2 and LS3 electrical connections are the same. On an LS1, I assume the adapter harness is needed as well as the adapter caps. However, I think the LS1 injectors are even longer than LS2 injectors, so I don't know if the adapter caps I purchased would be long enough for an LS1.

I wanted an OEM injector, and the LS3 is more than adequate for my needs.

You dont need to change o-rings with the LSXR when using LS2 or LS3 injectors, only when using old LS1 tall injectors.

LS2 & LS3 fuel rails are the exact same part number, the LS3 injectors are short, the LS2 injectors are longer, the differenc is made up in the intake manifold.

The spacer kit for running LS3 injectors is Comp #146025-KIT, Hinson has them

^So to run LS3 injectors in the FAST LSXR 102 intake, you need the spacer kit mentioned?
Just trying to figure out if I need them for my LS3 (FAST 102) intake.
Thanks.
