Good to know.

I didn't think there would be any real HP benefit, I just thought the better atomization may improve idle quality, around town driveability or possibly emmisions for us unlucky few that live in a smog state.

More current demand than a Walbro ...
New in-tank wiring will be required as well.

I see no one has asked the simple question?

WILL It have a check valve???

I put in a brand new walbro 255 and the fuggin thing has no check valve and bleeds off quicker than an alcoholic with with cut wrists LOL.

So all the work to put it in and my truck starts TERRIBLE.

I need a pump , i hope this one will be the ticket.

All Walbro GSS340/1/2 pumps have a check-valve in their outlet stem. If is is bleeding off then you probably have a leak somewhere in your system. It could be your in-tank lines, regulator or injectors. There is a set GM procedure for isolating these types of problems w/o playing musical parts.

Relax. There are a hundred variables when I company brings a new product to market. I'm sure when they posted they will begin shipping by the end of January, that was a reseanably accurate response. Shipping delays, customs issues, weather delays, Freight company missed a scheduled pick-up, etc, etc, etc. I'm sure no one is more eager to get them than Racetronics. They don't make any money on all their hard work and research till they get some product to sell.

I'm sure Racetronic's will eagerly post the moment they are available.

Please keep in mind that none of the upcoming models are compatible with the 99-02 f-body or C5/C6 Corvette fuel modules. There are some technical concerns with the application of these new pumps which require some bench and field testing.

You're either on the wrong thread or confused, we're talking about the new aero pump here.

I'm in the right thread. You posted "WTF is going on" so I was trying to give you a reason why I imagined them being late. I'm also very interested in seeing how this pump performs but I realize that delays happen. New products harldy ever make it to market on time. I'm sure Aeromotive and Racetronics will keep everyone updated with any new info as soon as they get it.

Wow chill out, you don't have to restate and defend your post, no one is challenging what you said about delays.

Still I don't know why you keep mentioning racetronix. Aeromotive makes this pump not racetronix. Unless perhaps you are privy to some information that the rest of us don't know, if that be the case please do share.

Actually, Aeromotive doesn't 'make' this pump either...

At this point, it doesn't look like anyone is going to be making this pump. All of a sudden all mention of this pump has been removed from their website and they are not saying a word about it anywhere. All after a big marketing push only 2 months ago....interesting.

They say a picture is worth a 1000 words.........This one also say every single pump gets tested for flow, pressure and current draw to ensure a quality product. Pumps shipping by the end of the week.
