Need Injectors (Cam only LS1)
Hey everyone.
I just got my car where I want it modding wise. I did a cam only on my 1999 Camaro with a TR230 and all supporting mods.
Long story short I need new injectors. I'm running on the stock fuel system so people are saying that I just need some replacement 36# injectors. I'm new to the fueling/injectors and am not sure which ones to get for a simple replacement that would be easy to tune. I'm all about longevity and reliability.
Which ones should I get? I do not plan on modifying the car anymore than it is but would not mind a bit of leg room. Some people have mentioned names like FAST and FIC.
Thoughts?

Some 36# from lucas delphi or straight from Fic injectors i dont know their brand may be same. Any of those will be drop in and change ifr table and go. I would read the fuel and injector sticky to see what the factory pump supports just to check. I know the pump is a 190 liter per hour

FRPP 30# red top injectors is what I went with, not sure about your camaro but with my 99 C5 they end up being 36# injectors and plug right in. Obviously a new tune is needed but they work great and are cheap. You can find them for under 100 all day on mustang/ford forums.

i have a set of 28.8lb injectors in excellent condition......these are the better ones from 98 F-body's and Z06 Vette's....i got talked into a set of 36lb Bosch for my cam swap, but i don't think i would've really needed them unless i was going to do a set of heads too......i'll sell them to you cheap if you want them

Thanks for the reply guys. I'd like to just get drop in replacements that will work with my stock fueling system and fuel pump, etc. My mechanic who is works just on LS based cars and has his performance shop recommended FICs I believe? Or maybe I forgot what he said.
Right now my stock injectors are at 100% at WOT

Would these work as a direct replacement with stock fuel pump?

You ought to see what the duty cycle on your stock injectors is at before you start buying parts... I don't see you running out of injector... I run a much larger cam on 26's and a 255 pump, and have not run out of injector. If you DO need injectors, I recommend FIC..

36lb @ 58psi is all you need for your set up.you definitely want to stick with a ls1 base injector.makes tuning a breeze.we offer a couple options. you can send in your stockers in for re sizing.or here's the link for new.
