Default How do I know when I need a fuel pressure regulator?

I'm installing 42# fuel injectors for my 232/240 cam. Only have the stock regulator. At what point would I need an adjustable regulator?

When your fuel pressure isn't right for your application. I have stock regulator with a 408, 42s, nitrous, etc.

Good to know guys. Thanx

However, my car has been sitting for 14 years. I'm sure the fuel in the lines and regulator are gel. Replace the regulator or just flush it out?

I'm guessing you have an LT1 car....

In that case, I recommend one as you can easily tweak your idle/part throttle mixtures to make the ECM happy. You can get your fuel trims closer before you start tuning the ECM. There are direct fit ones for this application that take only minutes to swap out.

Hey Lonnie. I'm sure you don't remember but I bought my Racetronix 42# injectors and Walbro fuel pump from you.

PM me with what you recommend. Thanx.
