Fuel system for my LQ4/TC76 setup
(not posting this in the fuel subforum because there's not a lot of FI going on in there)
Hey guys, here's the relevant setup information you might need:
Motor:
2003 LQ4 (6.0L, 365ci)
ARP 2000 rod bolts
ARP Pro Series head studs
GM Performance MLS head gaskets
Virginia Speed 232/226 .588/.574 115LSA
Comp Cams 26918 valve springs
Comp Cams 7.400" Hi-Tech pushrods
LS2 timing chain
Melling "296" high flow oil pump with high pressure spring
LS7 Lifters
LS6 Intake manifold
Ported stock throttle body
Fuel System:
Hinson Super Cars LSX Racing Fuel System (-6 feed, -6 return)
Corvette fuel pressure regulator
Siemens Deka 80lb fuel injectors
Turbo setup:
Turbonetics TC76 (.96 A/R, F1 turbine wheel)
Turbosmart 48mm Pro Gate external wastegate
Turbosmart 52mm Race Port BOV
SSAutoChrome 24x12x13 Bar and Plate FMIC
I'm going to be running ~10lbs on 91 octane fuel. Target RWHP is 600. The car is an RX-7 which currently has an in-tank 255lph Walbro. Would I be wise to put in another Walbro or should I get a Bosch 044 and put that in line after the Walbro? Looks like the Walbro -> Bosch 044 setup should be good for around 750RWHP... but I'm not too sure about that. The last thing I want is to lean it out...

The target of 600 will go up....it always does...lol...so add another Walbro beside of (not inline with) and turn it on with a Hobbs switch, pcm, etc. Be sure to wire it totally separate from the first Walbro...the 80lb injectors will max out before twin walbros.

i agree with onfire, hell you can hose clamp two pumps side by side if the car dosent have a bucket.
you will max out the turbo and injectors before you need more fuel.
it will be super fast at 600 hp. have fun and keep us posted.

...or you could use a DW301 in parallel with your W255.

Run off the DW301 since it has the flow you need and is a quiet pump, should be able to at your current goal, and if more flow is needed later on down the road...give the DW301 a little more voltage or power the W255 with a hobbs switch.
