Default Do I need fuel pump/injectors for cam swap?

Been doing a lot reading lately and this subject kinda goes back and forth.

I have a 98 T/A with stock heads and 107,000 on the clock. Getting ready to do a cam swap and was wanting to know if I should upgrade the fueling or not? It's an EPS cam 23x, 23x. Just wondering if it would be worth it or not. The last thing I want is to get the dyno and have fuel problems.

I've been looking at the racetronix pump & hotwire kit. Also, what about GTP injectors? I've read a little about them on here and there pretty easy to come by. Would I benefit at all from the pump and injectors? Or should I just leave it alone?

Is it worth it? of course it is, the question is,do you need it, That all depends on what shape your injectors are, Are you the original owner, has it had a lot of WOT runs? Theoretically, just for a cam swap you should be ok..

Did you get LS6 injectors with your intake or are you still running the LS1 injectors?

Nope, not the original owner. I believe I'm the 3rd owner, but the car was bone stock when I bought it. Not to sure how it was treated with the previous owners. I do like to open her up about once a month. I guess you could say to "clean it out", but mostly just cruise around on the weekends with an occasional street race thrown in there.

Stockers should get you in the mid-400's. If your cams are going to take you close to that...you'll want to consider larger injectors.

There were some years that had 26# injectors and others that had 28#.

Not a huge difference, but that's about a 40hp difference in what the two can support.

I believe that the 98 had the 28# injectors then in 99 went to the lower rating then with the bigger Z06 cam (02-04) they went back to the 28#. Correct me if I'm wrong (i'm sure somebody will) LOL

So, I'm looking to hopefully make 400whp with this cam. I should just stay stock on the fueling?
