Default Fuel smell Help

I was doing a search but dint find much.
Yesterday i was driving my ss and when i parked the car i could smell gas on the front drivers side but would get stronger towards the rear. Got underneath the car but did not find any fuel licks, the smell went away and came back and went away again, any suggestions are welcome. Im going to check the car during this week in more detail before dropping the gas tank.

Thank.

Do you have any SS braided rubber hose in the fuel line?
if so it needs to be replace with PTEF. Do a search for PTEF.

Just found out i don't have the evap canister that goes on drivers side rear inner well that is covered by the plastic thing. I think that's what caused the smell, first time i smell gasoline, then went away.

If you have stainless braided lines without teflon, then there's your problem. Also if you have the tank vented, that will do it as well.

Im going to keep an eye on it but seems odd cus never had the chance to smell the fuel specially since the car is always with a quarter of tank.
