Default Walbro e85 racing fuel pump f90000267 450lph

Has anyone tried a duel setup with this pump? -WALBRO E85 RACING FUEL PUMP F90000267 450LPH-
I am undecided on a duel setup with a psi switch or a belt drive.
5.3, twin garrett 66 p-trim, zo6 cam, ls2 intake, cts-v manifolds
Thanks for any help

I am going to try dual walbro 450's myself. From my calculations two will flow what 3 255's will at 43psi and once you get up around 60-70psi it's nearly as much flow as 4 255's. With proper feed line I don't see why two of these pumps wouldn't support 1200-1300hp.

My thoughts exactly. two 450's is the same as the big weldon external at 205gph. I was just wondering if anyone had run them and had any reliability issues. Feeding power should not be a problem with the fuel cell 2 feet from my batt.

Thanks for the reply

I went with the twin 455's, hope it works! Here is a few pics of the pump mount and motor mounts I made last week. The waterjet at work makes this almost easy

Why do you say they will not work with E85? I thought if Walbro describes them as E85 pumps they would work with E85.

Thought they were the 267 pumps, but they are the 262.
Guess I ate another $275. Bought them back in december and with all the parts I have been ordering didn't even pay attention. Maybe someone will need them

275 for the set or each??? if it is the set you should have no problem getting you money back. but most places the e85 ones are selling in the 225-250 range with sock and wire harness.

FYI for future. the E85 unit has a pig tail hard wired to the pump.

That was $275 for the pair, ordered the e85 pumps today, part number F90000267. Wish I could sell the other ones . Thanks for the info, I would have been real pissed if it ran for a week then killed a pump. Got some more done on it this weekend......
