Default upgrade from 2000 injectors or no?

ok, i have a 2000 ws6 and when i do my intake i was planning on (maybe) putting some new injectors in. i dont know what the 2000's come with i thought it was 26 but im not sure. and i thing the 01's come with 28.8 or something like that. should i get the newer injectors? the car is a bolt on car. car seems to need a lot of WOT fuel in tuning so this is why i was thinking maybe some injectors. let me know, thanks

you dont need the injectors yet, wait until you get a cam and headers, then get the injectors and a tune to go along with it.

I just bought the GM 28.8Lb with fuel rails just cause I was in a shopping mood. Plus you can't beat that price tag considering the fact that GM wants $95 ea. injector .

I would wait on the injectors until you really need the bigger ones even bigger than the 28 lbers, also you might need some tuning with bigger injectors so keep that in mind also.

The injectors & fuel rail package is still on special for $60 for another week I might even put together better pricing in a GP!>!>?!>!

The cool thing is 99-00 guys can get the big injectors, and the other guys can get them just so they have a fresh set of injectors

Default Question for Texas speed

Jason,
I have a 99 and need to upgrade. Will those 28.8s be enough to shoot a 125 dry shot?
Thanks

I was considering upgrading to the 28.8 injectors to help support a 100-125 dry shot. Would this be enough of an upgrade, or not even worth it?

What hp are we talking on these cars considering going with billygger dry shots? We usually only run 100 shots on the 26.4# cars, and 125-135 or so on the 28.8s...

Well, I just ordered my 28.8 injectors on special over TSP w/ the LS6 intake. For the money I figure you just can't beat it.
