Evap line gushing fuel 83 malibu
So we have this strange issue with our fuel injected lq4 swap, quarter tank of gas, where after its been ran for a couple minutes and starts to get hot, fuel starts to gush out of the hard evap line coming from the tank to the charcoal canister . also noticed both fuel lines and the part of the tank underneath the pump seeming to get pretty warm. anyone got any ideas why our evap line starts to gush fuel? can't find anything on the issue any where. also since I'm not all to familiar with after market fueling, do after market pumps typically run hot? is it possible the pump didn't get wired correctly? is there something big we're missing? i have no idea what could be the cause. for context, me and my dad are working on this, him on the electrical and I handle anything mechanical so it is possible he may have miss wired something some where. we have a racetronix 250 pump and sender in a brand new grand national style tank, -8 feed -6 return, adapters to the stock rail, stock injectors stock fpr. Evap is ran to the same port on the sender as it should factory. any input would be much appreciated, thanks.

just double checked to be sure, the lines coming from the sending unit are proportionally sized ie feed being bigger return being smaller, same goes for at the rail so it would be physically impossible to mix them up, double checked the evap was actually plugged into the evap port on the sending unit, it is. running duals out the back, within inches of the tank with no heat shields at the moment but we checked earlier while it was still running, tips were cool enough to grab bare handed and aren't close enough to the lines or pump to get them warm like they were. the tank didn't pick up hardly any heat from the exhaust, the only warm spot was underneath the pump, on the under side of the tank

canister is definitely bad lol, not the issue though. now that you mention it ill have to check if the hard line is just gunked full of **** to the point its causing so much evaporated fuel to re-condense and eventually squirt out

Found the issue, so for whatever reason racetronix decided to use these garbage fixed hose clamps in the third picture, were not tight enough to hold down 55+ psi of fuel from spraying past. dropped the tank onto our trans jack and disconnected the evap line from the car side, started it up and it started pissing fuel within 5 seconds. put new good clamps on either side at the pump, threw everything back together and now no fuel out the evap line, pump and lines didn't get nearly as warm/hot as before. also fixed our starting and bogging issues as well

Clamps are crimped to full tension during the assembly process.
We have never had this problem reported before and are not sure what went wrong with your particular setup.
If the pump was bleeding off in the tank it would reduce the head pressure, pump load and heating.
