Just recieved some injectors second hand but appears one has a small broken piece. Is this injector use able, repairable, or junk? I appreciate an info on this.

I hate to send them in just for the 1 broken.. how much does FIC charge to do all 8? I got these fairly cheap and not looking to dump a bunch into them.. I wonder if I can purchase just that piece and replace it myself?

Ok that would make sense.. any chance of more pieces of it breaking and getting into the fuel system? I just want to make sure it doesn't have the potential to cause additional problems.. I will probably throw some new O-rings at it to be safe also

This is why I had mine re-done..and that would go straight into the intake port....not the fuel system...not to mention missing prongs and fuel spray at 58psi into the engine bay coild lead to disaster...I don't chance an engine over something as minor as this....call FIC, I think mine were $120.

no they cant go into the intake port... if you still feel uneasy about it.. just take it off and run without it.

2 of my injectors are missing those things and it doesnt affect anything whatsoever

Yes they can, during installation or removal.

Minor damage, never worry about it.
