Default Nitrous Express Surge Tank w/ Dual 340lph Pumps

Has anyone ever used this before? I am looking into doing a surge tank for my fuel system over the winter for my high compression e85 build, and want to build my setup to only have to do it once, so later on down the road when I go boosted, I won't have to spend money on it doing it again. I came across this on Summit's site, but can't find any info on it. Seems like a decent piece and doesn't seem like a horrible price. Plus Summit is practically right down the street from my house, so I get like 1-2 day shipping lol. The tank has 2 ProFlow 340lph pumps (which I can't seem to find any info for on here) already mounted inside the surge tank as well.

Here's the link for the Tank on their site:

And here's the link for the pumps:

I like the looks of the Deatschwerks surge tanks, but they are sort of pricey, and if this does the same job for almost 35% less cost I would definitely be game for that.

Not sure I get this. So your stock fuel pump fills a little tank with two big fuel pumps in it? Why wouldn't the little tank just get sucked dry on no time?

Not sure why I never got updates for this post when you guys replied, however I did decide to get the surge tank. It's a pretty nice piece. As for depleting it quick, I'm running the return line from the rails to this then an overflow from the surge tank back to the stock tank. I got this in last week and am in the process of making a board to mount everything to in the trunk and should hopefully be making some more headway this weekend.

It's definitely a well built piece. And it'll be some nice eye candy once I'm done mounting it in the trunk as well lol

Agreed! I'm starting to get it all mounted up finally too.

It should keep up because the tank pump is rated at pressure but will pump a lot more when free flowing to the surge tank, He will also have his return line adding fuel.

Finished up most of the wiring last night. Still gotta splice into the factory fuel pump wiring and run the wires for the flex fuel sensor, but everything should hopefully be done and in by this weekend!

Downside I see... Returning hot fuel to a much smaller tank, vs returning it to the big tank, and allowing it to cool better.

Yeah that's the only real issue that I could forsee with this. I have the fuel coming from the stock tank going into the top of the hat on the surge tank since it goes straight down to where the inlets of the pumps are, and the return line from the rails is going into the bulkhead on the front of the surge tank so it will hopefully circle around and out the overflow to try and keep heat down to a minimum. I only have a 255lph pump in the stock tank, so even if I had the return line from the rails going back into the stock tank, it would keep heat down, but the surge tank would get drained eventually since the pump in the surge tank is a 340 lph pump. I'm using e85 so that should hopefully help keep things cooler than 93, but if it gets bad, then I will add in a fuel cooler on the return side to help things out.

So I managed to get everything buttoned up in the engine bay and finished hooking everything up in the trunk this weekend, and I am happy to say everything went off without a hitch! Loaded up the new e85 tune, and she started up on the first try and with no leaks to boot! So pumped this thing is finally finished. The fuel system is officially e85 1000 whp capable!
