Default Msd 6014 with stock LS EFI

Does anyone know if you run an MSD 6014 to control the ignition system and use the stock LS efi system to manage the fuel system?

... the stock EFI runs the ignition. Why would you ever use the MSD with stock EFI?

Got a msd on it now bc the motor is carbureted and wanted to switch to efi and was just wondering if there was any way to somehow leave it on there and run the stock fuel management system with it.. I can’t find much on the subject besides the stand alone efi kits, I guess I’m trying to essentially see if it’s to make one of those systems just with a 6014 box and the stock fuel management system

Pretty much any EFI system is going to do better ignition control than the MSD, including the stock EFI. The MSD is about as bare bones as a carburetor.

Default CS Output = Low

Hi Hunter, the Allegro Crank Sensor IS adaptive AND when connected to BOTH the 6014/PCM crankshaft position inputs, the control unis will NOT "see" the required signal.

I offer MY ECU-882C for your needs, then SELL the 6014.

The net cost will be less !

okay thanks, I kinda thought it wasn’t going to work since I hadn’t seen anything where someone had already done it lol but it was worth a shot

Default ECU Connectors + AMP 23 pin

Hi Hunter, NO there are TWO 23 Pin AMP connectors, NOT all are required to be pinned.
There is a Power/Ground Connector

EXAMPLE : The MAP AND BARO are internal, No MAF required.
The are FOUR GPOI's for fans, FP, Boost control, etc.

The DMI, Dual Map Intput feature allows for TWO separate calibrations with a "flip" of a switch.

There is a CAN 2.0B output.

The AMP connectors come with terminals, they pushed in the the connector.
