1) You do NOT have an LS1. LS1's only came in Corvettes, Camaros, GTO's, and CTS-V's. You either have an LM7 or L59 5.3L cast iron block, or LQ4 6.0 cast iron block.
2) The fuel pressure regulator might be shot.

Check the gauge. Where are you checking pressure?

Do you know if your gauge is accurate? See if you can borrow another one to check against yours.

It is accurate...I've had two different tests...I also know that my vent line for my fuel tank keeps pushing fuel out..if I loosen my gas cap up it helps

Yeah like do you have a fuel return set up? What are you using for a fuel pressure regulator?

You haven't given us any info on your fuel setup. Nothing.

The fuel set up has a supply return for the engine...the fuel pump I bought was for a ls ..I pulled my pump from the tank because it was set up for a 2.8 v6 and replaced just the motor in the fuel pump so it would have the correct amount of pressure

Still nothing. MAKE and capacity of pump, regulator, etc. There's a reason pressure is high.

Fuel pumps aren't made for an LS. Unless they bolt to the engine somewhere, and electric pump is an electric pump regardless of the engine.
The regulator determines the fuel pressure, not the pump. You haven't said which regulator, how your return is plumbed, which fuel pump you're using, what size feed/return, how your tank is vented, what fuel filters you're using and where they are placed, whether its 80 PSI just at idle or while driving, or how its behaving when the fuel pressure is high.

"I did an LS swap, fuel pressure is high" isn't enough to go on.
