When running two fuel pumps

When running two in-tank fuel pumps with one off of a boost type switch. How is the best way to set it up to know if the booster pump has failed? Don’t want to lean out an engine.

Holley guy here and running dual in tank pumps, I check my secondary pump with the output test function every now and then just to be sure. I would think if you just jumped the relay that would also confirm your second pump working

All depends on what computer you have.

I use an AFR safety and tune on the rich side of peak power. If AFR drops more than half a point when wide open it cuts ignition.

monitor fuel pressure and/or afr and use those for safeties. also, buy good pumps and make sure your wiring and plumbing is high quality parts and properly assembled/installed and you should have very minimal risk of failure.
