Racetronics Plug and Play Install Well I had the Racetronics 99+ install kit sitting in my garage. I removed the rearend to get a new set of gears installed so I figured this would be a great time to put the new pump in. Well, this was a very straight foward and easy install. My gas tank was almost empty so it wasn't too hard to drop the tank. I highly recommend this kit. I won't be able to test it out until I get the new motor in but as far as the install goes, this was a breeze...
Hehehe...my install was a breeze, too...right up to the point where I realized that the harness plugs into the top of the fuel module and not into the bulkhead connector on the body...did I mention that I had already reinstalled the tank?!

The tank wasn't that bad to drop. Basically 2 bolts. Kind of sucks having to drop it twice though. I looked at the connector and said I wonder if it fits here. It was right where it was supposed to go. I don't know where all the other connectors go that were in the bag with the extra ground straps.
the ground strap is for the battery, and the other hook ups are for an inline pump i believe. install was easy, now i have to make sure the reason my car isnt starting right is because the check valve, which im pretty sure it is, ive droped the tank 2 times so far. 4 hours the first time 2 hours the second, at least it gets easier
I just installed the pump part of the kit, wasnt that bad. I was wonderin how you guys routed the wiring harness up to the front of the car, its supposed to go along the fuel lines I guess but mabey there is a better way?
