Default What benefits from aftermarket fuel rails?

I just recently upgraded to SVO 30 lb. injectors and thinking about upgrading to a 90mm intake system and was wondering if upgrading my fuel rails will do me any good? What kind of benefits? Is there any increase in power?

Not at your power level...use the $$$ elsewhere.

Well thats what a lot said about the injectors, but I had to upgrade them as I'm pushing 400 rwhp through a fully built automatic, PT4400 unlocked, Strange 12 bolt w/4.10, slicks, and stock heads. Back when the car was a 6 speed, it put down almost 420 rwhp with the C2 cam. I would imagine if the car was still a 6 speed, it would be pushing 450 rwhp.

The stock fuel rails are used in 408/427 engines. They're plenty big for you Jeremy. Put that money towards your Fast 90/90 setup and re-dyno her!

Well I can get them at a discounted price and if its worth the money, then I'll go ahead and pick them up. I plan on getting the Racetronix fuel system as well. I now have the 90mm setup which includes 90mm FAST intake, 90mm Nick William throttle body and waiting on Texas Speed & Performance to finish up their 85mm lids. Once completed, I will be ordering one with a SLP 85mm MAF and SLP bellow. I have a cam only setup in which its almost maxed out, so I need every last hp I can get. What kind of benefits/gains do aftermarket fuel rails have, particularly the FAST ones?

At your power level, and your upcoming power level with the FAST intake, you'll get zero gain ... Spend the money how you want, but you're not going to lose HP with the factory rails at your power level.

BUT it looks like you've made up your mind to get them already, so do what you will... You won't lose power going to the new rails either... If anything they look pretty

Cool. I dont have to have them. I was just gonna pick them up as I am probably gonna pick up the Racetronix fuel system from Thunder for their Friday the 13th sale. If there's no reason to spend the money now, then I'll spend it elsewhere and buy it later. If I'm not gonna lose anything by staying with the stock fuel rails, then I'll leave 'em. Let's say I had power that did need them, what benefit do they have? From the description, it just says increased volume, nothing else I believe. Thanks everyone for your input.
