Default Where is 97/98 Vette FPR Reference?

Does anyone know where the reference is pulled from on the 97/98 Vette fuel pressure regulator?

The reason Im asking is Im putting on a LS1 intake from a 00 F-bod but Im having to use the 97/98 vette fuel rail and FPR since it is return style like my truck and I dont know how am I supposed to make this work? Do Ineed to just drill ahole in the intake or what? So the the intake from a 97/98 vette is different in a sense than a 00 F-bod?

just run a vacuum line to it...maybe spliced from the heater/ac vacuum line.....plenty of places to get vacuum from.

Oscar - He's using it in a truck application and it NEEDS the reference hooked up. The trucks up until two years ago used a referenced regulator.

Tiger - The regulator will work as we already talked about just tee it in to any vacuum source coming off the intake manifold already. It'll work.

Well, his truck is an 03 - and since he is putting on the ls1 intake and doing some other things, why not just re-tune the truck for static pressure?

I found out that all I need to do is hook it up to any vacum source on the intake. So that shouldnt be to hard to do. Say I wanted to tune it for static since my truck pcm reads that reference could I even sue the truck PCM? I think the easist fix for this is findong a different vacum source! Thanks for all the help!
