Racetronics or others....I just purchased my racetronics kit w/ hotwire. I am going to be about 650rwhp+ on a 150-175 shout of N20. Will the MSD booster work on a car that is not suppling a boost/vac signal? I want the pump to go to 16V at WOT cuz when the noids open alot of fuel is going by by!
Or do you think the pump and hotwire kit are enough for this HP? With a Walbro 225 on the stock wiring I was getting lean when on the 150 jets at 605rwhp.

The KB unit has two wires which when shorted boost the voltage. They use a pressure switch in their kit to activate the booster. Instead of using the pressure switch you use a relay off of your N2O activation or WOT switch to trigger the KB unit. The power in and out wires on the KB unit have the RX-PBIC connector set installed and plugged into the RX harness. The KB ground wires are attached to the chassis ground. It is a very simple installation with the RX harness.

hey is the pnp harness nessesary or is it just a way to keep the pump workin at the best possible operation and where do you plug it in and does it interfer in the factory wiring harness at all

I installed a Holley 255lph pump in my car and it went right in. Despite what the venders said who tried to sale me a RX pump instead made it sound like I would be making a hack job of my fuel system with the holley. In reality the only modification I had to do was splice two wires going from the fuel pump to the wireing harness. I only paid around $120 and it works great. It was a direct bolt in to me.

I installed my Racetronix kit in about 2 hours with my car in the street. I did the trap door method to save time. I know you're supposed to flush the tank, but I'm too lazy to pull the whole thing out. Get the Racetronix kit if you want to do it right the first time.

I ordered a holley fuel pump replacement for my car and it was wrong. Not all the tubes get connected and you have to make your own electrical splice that will have to be placed in the gas......I won't do that. Therefore I am returning the holley fuel pump and I ordered a Racetronix kit Saturday. Hopefully, this kit is as sweet as Racetronix webpage states it is.
