Question 42lb injectors where from what brand?

i am looking at getting some 42 lb injectors for when i change out my cam this spring. mods are afr 205's, magic stick cam , lts,90 fast intake, 90 mm tb etc. are the 42lbs enough or should i get larger injectors. The next question is where can i pick some up at for a good price and what brand to go with .

Ford Racing M9593F302 42LB FUEL INJECTORS $275 available online from a large Ford Dealer in Atlanta GA.
Or you can usually find NIB (New In Box) ones on ebay.

My vote is for the Delphi/Lucas 42 lb. They are around the same price as the ford injectors. With your mods you'll be good with the 42lbers.

I'd also vote for the Delphi/Lucas injectors. I have the 32# (36.5# @ 58psi) injectors and they were very easy to install and tune. I like the fact that there is alot of technical data readily available for these injectors (makes tuning easier). There's also still some confusion over the exact ratings of the FMS/SVO injectors over in the Tuning Forum. The Delphi/Lucas injectors are also disc type instead of pintle style like the stockers and Ford injectors. Supposedly they can control fuel flow better and are more resistant to clogging.

That is true, assuming FMS rates their injectors at 43.5psi (industry standard). The confusion comes from some sources stating that the ratings were actually given at 40psi. Here's a link to the thread over in the tuning forum:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagnostics-tuning/326601-ok-settle-svo-injector-ratings.html
The point I was trying to make was that we don't have concrete data from FMS on how they rate their injectors. Other brands freely offer this info and it makes tuning a little more precise. Both types of injectors will work and will keep a h/c car comfortably within safe fueling conditions.

Most tuner shops are familiar with using the SVO injectors, as they are widely used. The best thing to do is to check with whoever is going to tune your car, and ask them which ones they prefer to tune with. Bob

Just curious, how do these compare with the 42 lb. injectors used in the 8.1L marine engines? They are what I am using.
