Default Fuel Pressure gauge install

Need a little help guys.

I'm trying to install an autometer fuel pressure gauge on a 98 T/A for my buddy but it seems like something is missing.

I just assumed that the pressure adaptor would install on the shrader valve but the autometer adaptor is a male threaded adaptor.

Is there supposed to be an additional adaptor or am I way off with the way it should be install?

Any install docs on this out there?

You need an adapter. Metco sells them. Check out this thread about 3/4 of the way down. They are proud of the adapter, so be ready to dish out about $18 after shipping. I had to call them since it wasn't on their website and now their website is dead. Let me know if you can't find their number, I'll see if I can find the receipt.

Aeroquip has a nice one, lot less money, part #2242-2-4s. It's steel. -4female to 1/8" female npt I don't know what size the autometer is, but I had the same problem with their fitting, on a Dynotune Nitrous digital gauge.

Hey, does anyone have any updates on finding the adapter? I, too, was looking to install an autometer fuel pressure gauge, so it looks like i need the same adapter. I went to both the Metco and Aeroquip websites, but couldn't find the two adapters listed. Can anyone help?

Nate,

Hey, I'd like to purchase one of your adapters (the -4an Female to 1/8" Female). What's the best way for me to order one??

there is another nice fitting, an earls part, 1/8 npt female to 4 an swivel, this makes it sit off the rail at a 90, and the swivel lets you move it around a bit. I had mine like this till the no2 went on.
