Weird fuel Problem need help.
Weird fuel Problem need help. So my car was cutting out intermitently the other day when it just shut down and would not fire back up. Checked for fuel at the valve on the fuel rail and no preasure what so ever. I can hear the pump prime so I figured that the pump is working and so im thinking filter. Well took the filter loose and fuel poured out but not like it was under preasure more like it was ciphoning out of the tank. So I tried an expirement and turned the key to the run position thinking that if the pump was ok it should shoot fuel out the other end of the filter but it just kept pouring out. I put a walboro 255 in about 2 years ago and replaced the filter at the same time. Any ideas.

Thanks for the reply. Even it it could produce some preasure i thought i would have seen it with a open feed line when i disconnected the fuel filter and primed it. No need to drop the tank i already have an access panel.

inside the fuel module unit there is a small hose that conects the pump to the pump module " usally clear plastic", it may have split or come off completly. hence! pump running but no pressure!!
if you have a access panel, then pull the pump out and put it in a coffee can of gas and jump it to see if theres a leak you can't see.
