Default Racetronix Vs Greentops

I'm getting some injectors to go with my H/C swap and was wondering if anyone had used both types of injectors and had opinions on which are better or does it matter much? The racetronix have a much better pricepoint compared to the greentops but I know price isnt everything. Thanks!

what about mototron (motron)?
420 from ls1speed for all 8 and free shipping? also easy tuning.. the racetronix disc type require editing of more than just the Injector flow rate

You can get the 42lb green tops on ebay for 330 shipped. It's actually a local company I've dealt with that is selling them, I picked a set up a few months ago before prices went up for 275 picked up...

do you have oxygen sensors on your car?
have you put around 4k miles on your car after the install and notice that you are getting insufficient switching at idle on your oxygen sensors?

nope. pure SD tune.

I have not installed them yet. I just sold my 42# Bosch and got a set of 50# racetronix. the car will be back up and running next week. just happened to stumble upon this thread. I had not heard of any problems with them before.

someone needs to cal racetronix and talk to them about the pulse width and all that other crap that is technical for the computer so that they run right.

earlier here are my posts: https://ls1tech.com/forums/pcm-diagnostics-tuning/515608-exact-dtcs-readiness-tests.html

also here is HPTuners discussion...which I haven't registered there yet so i can't see all the stuff tho : http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showth...?t=5615&page=2

now would racetronix like to step up and help me a little..... or does someone already know. muncie21 and me tried to get mine up and I'm still playing with them BUT I just got my Motron 60#ers so **** the racetronix problems.

I changed all of my tables by 15%
and the volts vs kpa table by 20%, i want to see if changing it by 30% will do it as I have gotten it to where the code is triggered but the SES light doesn't come on

honestly i'm fed up with it

383ss SD tune doesn't rely on the oxygen sensors and switching crap, so thats why you don't have problems with the injectors

ever just consider doing and SD tune? is is quite easy.

thats my last resort. I have been OL SD before and tuned in the VE. same power can be made on both, if i install my motron injectors and have a problem then screw it OL tune for forced induction and custom OS here we come. but since I KNOW that it is the injectors I won't have a problem(at least i'm confident i won't)

so goodbye racetronix injectors....hello motrons..tune is already made too, just gotta do the fuel pump install, put in my fuel pressure gauge and install the injectors... tomorrow(well at this time today) will be a long day

SD and MAF have nothing to do if a tune does or does not use the o2 sensors.

When you are open lool = no O2's
Closed loop = O2's.
