IAT sensor and Fuel rail question
1st, I assume that the PCM requires the IAT. Given that assumption, and given the fact that I won't be using a SS air box with the OE IAT, does anyone have any suggestions on an after market IAT that plugs into the GM harness, or is it ok to use a generic bosch IAT and splice the bosch connector to the GM harness.
2nd, the 944 uses a return type fuel rail system, the LS1 not. I have an adjustable FPR because of the mods to the turbo engine. Will a fuel rail from a 97 corvette, camaro, etc that is a return type fit on the LS1??

That's on the car in my sig, so it should work on anything you are trying to do.
As for the fuel rails...the 97 Vette rails are a return style rail, and should also work for you. The 97 Vette was an LS1 - but the 97 F-body was not. The Camaros/Firebirds didn't come out with the LS1 until 1998.
