You could make your own and just buy the quick connect fittings...

No problem. If you want different colors other than blue and red, just go to summits website and do a search under plumbing department. They have black and polished as well. Good luck

I got black quick connects when I did mine. I don't think I've ever seen polished quick connects tho... I do know they have the polished hose ends.

That combo worked great for me. Except I didnt order two of the straight hose ends. Originally I did, but I re-ordered a 90*. But Im using 4th gen fuel lines in a 3rd gen, so the mounting height is higher I think. Either way...worked great. No more kinked up ugly plastic line.

Thats probably a good idea to get one 90° and one straight

Just a word of warning... I had to wait like 2 months to get the push on -an fittings for the fuel lines. They were on back order and no one could get them. Summit kept pushing it back a few weeks at a time.

So if you think you are going to build it...order them now. I see their ship date is 6/27/07...so the sooner you order, the better off you'll be.

On another side note. I FREAKING LOVE Russell -AN fittings. They are so easy to put together and seal so nice. No teflon tape, no sealant, no rtv, no he-man strength needed. I also used newer clean wrenches on them and had no issues with the finish getting messed up. The hardest part to the whole prosses is cutting through the stainless braiding on the outside the hose.

No matter what I tried, it came out freyed and not so pretty. I tried strong tape, elec. tape, two hack saw blades opposing each other...nothing seemed to make it "easy" to cut that stuff.

I used electrical tape and an air powered cutoff wheel, and the lines cut like butter. Yeah, the blue snap fittings were on backorder when I was putting together my system too. I was just going to paint it black when I got it, but since they were not looking to be in stock anywhere soon enough for me, I ended up getting black ones from aeroquip

I'm sorry, it is Aeromotive who makes the black ones, not Aeroquip.

Here is the one I got: Jeg's p/n 027-15118 $36.99

It is a 3/8" quick connect to a -8AN fitting.

I used a -8AN to -6AN adapter to use -6 line. Jeg's p/n 555-110212 $6.99

Its not ideal to have an extra fitting in there like that, but it was in stock, and the color I wanted when I was ordering all my stuff. I also found Jegs had all the stuff in stock that I needed, but summit didn't. Even though summit's website is way easier to look parts up on. I'd look up the parts on summit, and then use those part #'s to search Jeg's site. I ended up ordering everything from Jegs and payed shipping from 1 place.

Cool. Looks like that would be hard to get through vette FRCs...but if you arent using them then it doesnt matter.

Good deal... I usually order from summit or jegs. They seem to give the same service and same shipping speed. I LOVE how you can order something from summit on like wednesday afternoon, and it will show up on friday.

Snap a pic of your line when you get it together! I was going to go with the black fittings from russell...but didnt want to wait even longer. I figured I would just use the red/blue fittings for something on the other side of the motor and balance it out. haha.
