I think I may have an injector problem (minor). Are the factory (02 Fbody which are #28 I think?) serviceable? Other than running Techron through them can I take them out and clean them and is there anyway to check them?

There are a lot of companies that rebuild stock injectors. RC has a cleaning service option for injectors. http://www.rceng.com/Fuel-Injector-Cleaning-P43C0.aspx

I put a can of Techron in and filled up at the local Chevron. I'll ask Napa if they can test them for me, it might be worth taking them off just for the peice of mind.

I poured a bottle of Techron in the tank and put about 10 gallons of Chevrons best 91 fuel. I've driven about 50 miles on that load.
I bought a bottle of MAF cleaner and performed a thorough cleaning of my MAF.
I retorqued my intake manifold...this surprised me as I torqued ot to spec (I beleive it is 22ft-lbs) when assembling, but I was able to get a full turn on the bolts when go over the manifold again. I didn't use the torque wrench this time, I just tightened them to "tight" with one hand on a small 1/4" drive racthet.
Well whatever the case, on the way to work this morning the numbers are much better. Often the two banks were reading the same numbers. I don't think the Techron would have done anything yet, the MAF wouldn't be bank specific, perhaps I had a vrey small leak on the intake manifold???

We also offer the fuel injection service. We can get them done the same day we get them from you. When you get them back, you will have a sheet with before and after numbers. They will also be re- O ringed.
