Default Need some help with a Fuel system set-up!!!

Right now my fuel system is the stock non return set-up, but I'm wanting to do a return style set-up. This is what I currently have, so tell me what you think or what I need. I need this system to support 900-1000RWHP also. Thanks!!!

FAST 60# injectors
Nasty fuel rail set-up
98 metal gas tank

Need to purchase:
-Pump,what kind? Thinking a A1000
-Comp eng makes a kit that welds to the bottom of the tank for the sump
-Regulator
-fuel filter
- was thinking about using my factory feed line as the return and doing -8 as the main feed

DISCUSS.....

What do you mean it breaks alot? I'm not really worried about how loud it is, my car is loud as hell as it is.

The car is more street than track, but only gets driven 1-3,000 miles a year

Others surley will chime on on the A1000 and street issues. Its just not a good pump to run on a car that sits in traffic.

I was in the same boat as you, I chose the magnafuel 4302.

Were you running the pump without a controller while sitting in traffic?

Where did you get the magnafuel pump at??

What causes the pump to have problems on the street, especially in situations like traffic? Is the temp a big factor, and would a fuel cooler make it more dependable?

Wow, thats a bold statement. Have you ever owned a A1000 yourself? I have put one on every vehicle I have owned and never had a problem. Just follow the instuction and you will be fine. The cars have ranged from blow through carb to EFI forced induction.

PS. I have never used a speed pump controller.

OK for one the A1000 will never make 1000rwhp. The dual pump setup would be a great street setup but you will be pushing it to its limits at 1000rwhp. If you want some room to grow something more along the lines of our stage 1 Race kit.Give me a call I will help you spec out exactly what you need to do it right the first time.

60lb/hr injectors will support 1066 crank hp @ 100% duty cycle on a .45 BSFC. Most tuners run injectors around 80% DC which would be around 850 crank hp. Of course that is N/A bsfc. If he is going FI then move the bsfc up to .62. Either way you look at it the injectors are too small. Is this FI, Nitrous, or N/A?
