Default External vs in tank fuel pump ???? HELP please!!

I am new here, and this question has probably been debated before. But I will ask it anyway. I am installing a ZO6 LS7 motor, in my 32 ford truck. I have a JAZ plastic fuel cell now. I am getting mixed opinions, on what I need to do about a full pump. Some people say the in tank pump is the only way to go. Others say the external will work find. Everyone agrees on the walbro pumps. So what do you guys think? I am sure people on here have run the setup both ways. Please help.

since its a swap i would just do the inline pump since the cell has the sump at the bottom for fuel outlets

Are you planning on modifying the motor? Any power adders...Nitrous/boost?

Right now just planning on headers, air filter of some kind. With a K& N filter, whatever I can work out with my limited space. If I do run a bottle, I have another complete fuel system already on the truck. Where I ran a bottle before on the carburated motor.

The disadvantage of an external pump is noise, but much easier to set up in a conversion.

If you're going external, get a Weldon.

Company called "Tanks" has a universal sender that has a Walbro pump on it and could drop into your tank and be plenty and quiet. Let me know I can set you up with the rest as you need.
