Default 42# or 36# injectors

what injectors should i get since im going to be getting new heads? i was thinkin about the 42# ones in case i decide to hook the nitrous back up but would it run fine with out nitrous as long as its tuned properly? also what brand should i get?

Lucas #42 lb injectors $289 or SVO #30 lb (36 lb. on ls1) injectors $269 are both on sale with us right now .

Would recommend FAST 36lbs/hr injectors

they are an OE bosch injector GM has used.

Like I said in the previous thread: 36 lbs for your current application, but if you decide to add on Nitrous or pack more power, 42's are necessary. Maybe a new fuel pump as well.

I see most people saying the 36's are easier to tune with, while the 42s will hold up to more power, they might give rougher idle, etc. Also, are you still running a stock fuel pump?

What % are your current injectors running at? I'm bouncing around the 90% range now, running on straight motor... which is why I'm looking to upgrade. The new Kooks really opened things up on the top end. I went from low 80%'s to 90% at 6200RPM. Don't want to chance 90% duty AND spray 150HP thru it, wet or not.

Racetronix seems like the fuel pump to go for, for us h/c/i/n peoples.

Agree , the same injectors GM used for the ASA motors. Great injectors that are ~40 lbs. in an LS1.

PLEASE DO NOT JUST BUY HUGE INJECTORS!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT AND PONDER WHY YOU ARE RUNNING RICH AT IDLE and other areas
what power are you going to be making?
