check the wiring running to the crank position sensor... it might be burning/shorting out against your headers

hmmm your problem sounded exactly like how my car was acting.. and it turned out the wires going to my crank position sensor were burned thru from resting on the header primary... probably causing the timing to get all effed up! which would explain the loading up and back firing..

Damn. Alot of checking.

I read somewhere it could also be faulty injectors, bad coils, o2 sensor, MAF, TPS, broke valve and/or valve spring?

I had a major vacuum leak. fixed that. Ran fine for about 20 miles, then symptoms came back. GM's tech2 said Vacuum leaks, and possibly O2 Sensors..

i also have an ms4.. and see this problem a lot.. i have the same problem but mine just loads up between 2k-3k rpms and stops EXACTLY at 3k rpms.. will do it for about 5 mins when it gets warm.. then will stop.. turn it off and turn it back on it will do it again...

also, i normally idle around 1500 rpms.. its supposed to be at 1000rpms no matter what... thats what the tune is for at least.. everyonce in a while it will go to 1000 but thats rarely.. if i put it in park it revs up to about 2k rpms then goes back down to about 1300..

Default Wow!

You really opened pandora's box but you need a scanner to tell you first if you are throwing anything. Second you need one to log your tables so you can see map response and tps resonse. I havent seen it but maybe your TPS sensor is running out of range because it's shot. You map sensor could be shot as well but if it was shot it wouldn't idle below 2000. GET THE SCANNER
