Default how did you get your hose from coming off your walbro pump?

this happened to me 3 times already. the hose coming out of the fule pump and going to the top of the module keeps coming loose. i already have 2 clamps installed opposing each other on it. going to try t-bolt clamps next.

any tips or tricks i should try cause this is driving me nuts.

What sort of length are you using on this hose? Is it longer than neccessary and your looping a section around or tucking the excess out of the way? Try Cutting the Hose so that there is no slack. Make a direct connection from the Walbro to the Top of the Fuel Outlet nozzle. Now the hose should find it hard to move because there's no play. Either direction of movement backs it into either the Walbro or the Output Nozzle.

Hope that helps..

Mines fine...I have 1 clamp on the upper part of the hose,I could only fit one on there and two on the lower portion..I had to trim the hose a bit to get it to fit properly...Oh and the damn things way to quiet.Did what you told me also, drilling the holes I drilled a sh#t load of them.

cool , that way you won't starve the pump when you're below 1/3 of a tank.
it's funny that you mention the quite thing, i thought my pump was going to be loud when i put it in too.

I've been using marine grade fuel line. The wall thickness is about 3/8". It is hard to get in place but I don't think it could blow off if there were not clamps.Just cut it to exact length.

First the walbro outlet connection is 5/16. The connection on the fuel pickup (goes to the car) is 3/8. I use a 3/8 to 5/16 adapter so there are no problems getting a good connection and a piece of 5/16 hose and 3/8" hose. Otherwise you will have to crank the clamp down a lot and risk damaging the hose. I have the fuel pickup fulling extended and make the hose length so that the fuel pickup can not move. This does to things, keeps from pulling off hose when the pickup height tries to change and keeps the fuel pickup at the bottom of the tank all the time (which is good for acceleration).

I just reused the stock hose and a hose clamp, was hard to get onto the new pump. So far, so good.
