trying to get good gas mileage for a trip... hey.. i am going on a 260 mile trip(thats each way..) and i want to get good gas mileage... i have an 02 z28.. it has kinda high mileage.. and gets ok gas... like 23 on the freeway and 20 around town...
any suggestions how to increase it.. besides the ovious of cruize control on the freeways?

how do u get 23 mpg?? i have a 383 stalled impala and i get 26+ and it weights a good 5000+ pounds!!!

i was guessing.. i havnt figured it exactly....
and my boyfriend prolly wouldnt like if i stoped at ur house especially with him with me!!!

^^HAHAHA easy now. i drove from FL back to CA a few months back. my car was loaded down, i put 34 psi in my tires, cleaned the air filter ran a can or two of seafoam through before the trip and didnt hotrod along the trip. I averaged around 25mpg with an average speed between 85-90mph.
