help with choosing injectors for my setup i have a 402 that makes 505whp through a 6 speed, i had 50lbers but they were a bitch to tune at idle so the car ran shitty at idle once in a while.
im getting my intake ported, and adding 1 7/8"s headers so the car should pick up some more power. just wanted to get some peoples opinions on what injectors i should go with.

car will never see a dry kit or boost, ill spray a wet shot eventually, so 60lbers sound like overkill, im leaning towards the 42s, as long as people dont think im pushing them to much, cause i hear different stories from different people on how much power they can support
To support your current power level, you would need a 36 lb/hr @ 3 bar injector running 4 bar fuel pressure to stay at or below 80% duty cycle.
A 42 lb/hr @ 3 bar injector running at 4 bar fuel pressure would put you at about 68% duty cycle. A good place to be as long as you aren't going to significantly increase horsepower. Bosch green tops or Lucas would fit the bill.
Here's the calculation:
