What fuel pressure?
PM me your email. I will send you a tune with the proper IFR, min pulse and offsets for Lucas 42's.

Sure. Actually, after I replied to LT170Chevelle, I realized he is running an LT1. I am not too familiar with the fuel parameters on an LT1, however I will put all the values I have in a spreadsheet and post it here. That way people can just take the data and put it into whatever tuning package they are using. I should get it done tonight.

i have my excel file that is available under this fuel and injection section and you can look up the ratings on racetronix's website, as they sell the delphi/ lucas injectors.

they are rated at 43.5psi as far as i know and my excel file will give you the correct IFR

The LT-1 is rated at 43.5 psi at WOT, although mine actually goes to 45.0 with the Racetronix kit installed.

hopefully, this will cure the rich condition on deceleration.

It should make it much better. I am running OLSD so I cure my rich decel with VE. If you are running a MAF and OL/CL then you should try these settings. If you are running EFILive, then these values paste right in. If you are running HPTuners, the axis for the correction tables are switched, so be aware.

Just out of curiosity, where did you get this data?
I searched long and hard to find data on these with nothing concrete.
I've seen alot of "this works pretty good" numbers but no "this is" data from the manufacturer or very detailed testing procedure.

Just curious where you came across these numbers.

Default i have lucas 42's

we have been trying to tune my car for a while.i think the ifr tables we used are not right.i am using hpt and do not really get it ,but will try to use this data .killa,Steve is helping me with this but has efi.i need to be spoon feed with hpt but i'll stick with it.
does the fuel pressure make a big difference?i'm on a stock fuel syst. with a msd booster.with it set full ccw ,low, i read 62# on the rail all the time.i am told it should be 58#.the car is an late 2004 and has the c6 fuel set up,thermostat, battery, pvc, and a few others, all for the change over to 2005.
i am the third owner so the guy in Texas or South Carolina could have modified it?
anyway if anyone has this in hpt ,please post it or send it.
thanks mike

Part Number Delphi 01D030B
Static Flow Rate: 42.29 lb/hr @ 43.5PSI (300kPa) or 320gm/min
Static Flow Rate: 48.83 lb/hr @ 58.0PSI (300kPa) or 370gm/min
Dynamic Flow Rate: 9.96 gm/pulse - 2.5ms pulse width and 10ms repetition rate @ 43.5PSI
Coil Resistance: 15.9 Ohms / High Impedance

do you have this?
injectors.zip
use either 43.5psi or 58psi, the tables will come out the same.

my fuel gage reads 62# all the time.( a wiggle @ wot).i have been told all gm v8's are at 58#.the rail is stock, only a msd booster set at lowest .i do not think a b&m gage would be off 4#?
THANKS FOR THE HELP , MIKE

Most of the data is from Precision Turbo, where my Lucas 42's are from (p/n 041-0420). I contacted them and talked to a tech. He sent it to me. Some of the data is from Frost.

One thing I have found... some people say or think they have Lucas Injectors when they really don't. You need to check the numbers. Also, typically Lucas injectors have a beveled edge on the thick part of the body where it enters the manifold. Look at these two injector sets. The first are Lucas. The second are branded as Delphi. Now they might be made by the same people, but the numbers on the injector will more than likely be different. Mine look like the first one. I may be wrong, but it is a good idea to check the numbers then start your research on what you have. Unfortunately the blue bands on Lucas 42's are on other injector types as well.

The values for short pulse tables cannot be universal because the voltage offset table varies between different year vehicles drastically and there is no real offset data available for use. Even if there were, if you are being picky about it, it would still see variation from application to application.

I don't keep concrete numbers for these things, I just tune the tables until I get them to act the way I want. I will expect that all of you will have to do the same. Don't forget that if you are boost referenced, that offset table is map-based, so changes there must happen just like the IFR.

the main reason i started this thread is to make sure i have the right settings for my injectors. The only thing that i changed on my program ,injector wise, was just the injector constant. Do i need to change the flow rate or any other constants on my tune?

Yes, but no one can just give you values, you need to tune to get what what you are looking for.
