Default SVO 36 or 30?

I am in the process of planning my H/C swap. My goal to be in the neighborhood of 450 rwhp, although probably not gonna happen. Anyway, my car is an M6, so assuming 12% loss through the drivetrain, I would have roughly 511 hp at the flywheel(450/.88 = 511 fwhp). According to the formulas in Chevy LS1/LS6 Performance I should require about ~41 lb-hr at 80% DC (4 bar), which would be roughly a 36 lb injector (rated @ 3 bar). Does this sound correct? If so, what is the Part # for the SVO 36lb injector? Thanks in advance!!

Go down to the injectors. I recommend the Lucas 38#'s... You should not need anymore than that unless you are planning on spraying a HUGE dry shot.. If so I recommend getting the Lucas 42lb's..

SVO Ford injectors are not rated at the LS1's fuel pressure so the 30lb. injectors are like a 36 when installed on an LS1. SVO 30lb. injectors are the recommended injectors from LG on their G5X2 H/C package cars that are making 450+RWHP. 30lb. motorsport injectors are what I'm running also.

You also shouldn't need any bigger than those on a H/C car NA. You don't even need to upgrade injectors on a 99+ car really until you're at 450+RWHP. For nitrous run a wet kit that supplies it's own fuel so you don't have to get gigantic injectors to compensate, just make sure you upgrade your fuel pump (just get an intank Walbro 340) to make sure you have enough pressure to power the injectors and the wet kit.

Out of curiosity, and I'm stupid here, would having too big or too small an injector affect your mpg? If the injector is too small, and has to work too hard, does the mpg go down? If it is too big will it dump too much gas? I would assume the latter should be tuned out, so you are not running too rich anyway, correct?
Can you have too much injector? Just trying to plan for the future, and I'd rather build the fuel system first to avoid issues down the road.
Sorry for all the questions, but I am stupid, like I said

Speed Demon is running a special on Bosch 42# ($315/set)...are these any good and could these be effectively "de-tuned" to work in a H/C car? Another shop (non-sponsor) has a special on Delphi/Lucas 37#s($308/set)...would these be a better fit?

You have to ask yourself what you want to do with the car exactly. 30# SVO injectors are fine for a big HP H/C car NA or with a wet kit or probably a mild dry shot........ if you're wanting to spray it with a big dry shot do the 42#'ers. The 42's you list are a good price. You WILL HAVE to get that car wideband dyno tuned with LS1 edit though with those big injectors on a stock cube motor.

I am going with SVO 36#'s because I got them for a steal.. I am spraying a dual stage.. Dry shot first followed by a wet shot.. I want to keep up with the peeps around me. Many are running between 550rwhp and 700rwhp with dual stage setups. I want just 650rwhp.. My game plan is 125/125 initially and see what she does.. and then 125/150 to get my 650rwhp once I get the booster pump..
