Used 9" Center What vehicle should I look for when looking for a used center section for this axle?

Go to google and search for Ford 9 inch. There are a bunch of websites that will tell you what vehicles they came out of, the differences in center sections, what gear ratios, positrac, and how to identify them.

most of the big block cars/trucks with 9" had the 31 spline like 390 thunderbirds, trucks, etc. majority of the smaller small block cars had 28 spline. you could tell by pulling an axle and counting the teeth..theres probably another way to tell i just havent looked at them in a while to know the difference. theres a 31 spline in this old 65 thunderbird in the yard and i have another 28 spline 9" that was pulled out of a 69 cougar. whatever you do make sure its a 9" and not a 8" haha
ive seen a few 67-75 f150s with a 28 spline 9" and some with a 31 spline. f250s would more than likely be a 31 spline i would think. also seen some with 3.25 gear. another thought... there should be a tag on most rear ends with a code for gear ratio/spline/ open or posi.
If you can find one, the full size broncos came with 31 splines, some were the "N" case too, but you'll be hard pressed finding one, they have scavaged them all up, you'll will most likely be better off putting together a new unit, because if you do come apond a used complete posi 3rd. member, it'll set you back 300+, then you don't know how wore out it is, i got f$cked on a used 3rd. member off e-bay, had to have it completely rebuilt, was out 500 bucks, i went with a spool & 4.11s, so in the long run i was out 850+ $$$, i could have gotten a nice NEW "N" unit for that kind of money (didn't listen the 1st. time 
), IMO, DO NOT buy one off e-bag, you'll most likely get taken & have a junk 3rd. member, because most are the 4 pin trak loc unit, over time the 2 smaller pins wear, when this happens it wears the posi unit too, then you have a junk piece because they can't be fixed.

Don't think it will without modifying it to the point it will be weak (very weak), i talked this over with Bob @ EPP when i got my housing from him, i had to buy an aftermarket T/A, i got a BMR, i had the Edelbrock T/A, but this arm is pretty close too a stock one, it wouldn't work either, you know you'll also need a different driveshaft too, the stock one is an inch or so too short. The front bolt on the T/A will go in, but the rear bolt won't, the bracket for the T/A on the 9" is very thick, so you'll be grinding the rear bolt area too the point there will be no reinforment left, thats not good.
