first mod - Gears or Stall?
2002 camaro SS - I don't track or drag the car. I only use it on nice summer days and would like to get a little more kick out of it. I currently have a 345 HP package, stock 3:23 gears, GMMG chambered exhaust, ported TB and a diablo tuner. Do i put in a 3200 stall or 3:73 gears? Would like to get some input from the folks on ls1tech...thanks for your input!

Personally I would do the gears first then the stall. Even though your going with a 3200 I wouldn't want to drive around with a higher stall on factory gears. just my own opinion

Since you've already got 3.23s'(as compared to those that have the 2.73s'),you would be increasing the torque to the carrier and axles by 15% at all speeds and in all transmission gears. It's something you would definitely feel.A change in torque convertor stall from the factorys' low stall to a higher rpm stall,as in the 3000-3500 range, will bring the ls1 engine up into its' better power band almost immediately and the rush would be higher than gears.
convertor over gears,eventually do both.

Just bought a Level II tranny with a billet 3200 rpm stall from Performa built! There is a special going on (last day today) where you get the Level II for the price of the Level I. My car is in storage for a few more months, when i get her out, i'll report back with the details of the tranny and stall.
